Old Market Square and Complex of Synagogues

The first market square was formed in Kėdainiai in the 15th century and was called the Old Market Square due to it being the oldest market.

Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration of Christ

The orthodox parish was established in Kėdainiai in 1645, when Jonušas Radvila married his second wife Maria Lupu.

Rectors' Houses

Rectors' Houses were built in 1600s. In one of them there lived Calvinist priests, in the other there was a shelter.

St. George's Church

Legend says that the brick church was built by the crusaders in place of a pagan temple, after chopping down a large forest.

St. Joseph’s Church

At the beginning of the 18th century, Carmelite monks settled in Kėdainiai. Local residents reformers opposed the Carmelite monks, therefore they built their church only in 1766.

The Synagogue was built in the middle of the 19th century.

Town Hall

At Didžiosios Rinkos Square one can admire one of the three surviving town halls in Lithuania and the only one with a Renaissance style. It was built in the 17th century.
